HONEY ICE CREAM – Yummy on hot days!
Honey Ice Cream
(Makes 1 pint ice cream)
¼ pint whole milk
½ pint double cream
2 tsps vanilla extract
How to make:
- In a saucepan, stir together milk, cream and vanilla extract.
- Warm gently until blended (but do not boil), then stir in the honey.
- Let it cool.
- Pour into a basin, stir.
- Freeze. Whisk well once every hour for four hours.
- Freeze until frozen.
- Decorate with red and green jelly sweets, if liked.
